Jennie Schueler

Jennie founded J. Gordon Finishes in 1987 in Philadelphia after receiving her MFA from the Tyler School of Art. Having taken on several clients in New York City, she moved to the Big Apple in 1990.

Jennie worked primarily as a decorative painter through the 1990’s. In New York, she enrolled in several technical decorative studios where she trained in specialized techniques such as gilding, plaster, woodgraining, and trompe l’oeil.

In 1997, while maintaining her business, she co-founded Esso, a fine art contemporary gallery on the lower east side of Manhattan.

Adman Iberdemaj

In the early 2000’s, Jennie met Adman Iberdemaj, a native of Kosovo. She saw in Adman, a young, whip smart and ambitious young man, and from there the partnership grew. Jennie and Adman pride themselves on working alongside teams of skilled painters and artisans.
